Tabulated (similar to Excel) Input interface for Budget / Fee creation

We are wondering if it would be feasible to investigate an option where the user interface for the Budget / Fee creation area could look similar to an Excel / Table - where “Resources” are listed across top (columns), with “Tasks” along the side (rows).

Refer attached image for example of an Excel version.

This would enable the more rapid iteration and editing of hours allocated to each task / resource.
