Date / Time Field in Pipeline Record

When creating a ‘New Opportunity’ in the Pipeline feature, under ‘Interactions’, is it possible to add a feature to choose the specific date the interaction took place instead of it defaulting to the date the ‘Record’ was created or having to manually type it into the Description section?
