Adjusting Leave

Is it possible to design a feature to be able to adjust/edit a leave period, without having to delete and readd i.e. at the moment if an employee decides to take an extra day of leave than what they had originally planned, I have to delete the whole application in their leave section and readd it as a new application with the correct dates. It would be really useful to be able to adjust or edit current applications, to avoid confusion and mistakes.
